I was separated from my family, wife and smoker almost three years ago to the date. Things have finally started to get back to normalcy and I have a new place that mlaes me happy and I got my 22" WSM back in action today. I just wanted to do something simple and get the grates heated up, so I'm cooking some dogs from a local vendor and will be doing a brisket this weekend. Yhe amount of joy this cook brings me is indescribable.

Glad you are happy again! Futzing with a smoker seems to have that effect. Enjoy and let us see the photos!

Glad to hear things are getting better.

May your charcoal be dry and your smoke be blue……

All the best to you. Keep cookin'!

Just checking in to see how your brisket went, or if that isn't until tomorrow? Just make sure to give us an update and some pics of that smokey goodness!
