Just want to say what a privilege it is to be on a forum I consider a second family!

I sincerely appreciate all the folks I have met on here… And if it weren’t for this forum… I’d have never met some of the finest folks I am happy to refer to as friends!

Here, Here. I've got friends and enablers I would otherwise have not had the pleasure of meeting (even if only virtually) if it were not for this forum, and I am richer for it.

Yep, It's great to feel like you "know" people from all over the continent (and beyond) who you've never actually met, and besides cooking, what the weather is, prices,
etc. We can occasionally disagree and not be nasty about it.

Yes sir , some of the finest folks I've never met walk these halls ! I have only been here for yr and haven't met many but there are some good people here who always offer help and a life raft to anyone in need.
Ih feel blessed and fortunate to be here and to be able call y'all friends !

Not only all the friendly people here, but the knowledge gained here in so many aspects. And the therapy...I didn't know I had so many wants and needs! Definitely glad I found this place!

Well stated Justin. Myself and a whole lot of other people feel the exact same way. This place has brought many new friends into my life and a whole new experience where food is concerned. It has been a true life changer being part of this forum and I'm honored to be a member of the SMF family.

I agree with all the statements about unseen family but do yourself a favor if the is a gathering in your area treat yourself to a face-to-face meeting. For sure you will never forget meeting some of the guys face to face.

I don't do "social media", too many stupid people out there for me. Ignorance I have no problem with, but stupidity I can't tolerate. That said, joining this Forum 8 1/2 years ago was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've only had a face-to-face with one other member, but I've sure made a lot of good friends. Friends I wouldn't even have known existed were it not for this forum. Thank you SMF.

Seems somehow the family takes care of it’s own and gets most the jerks to quiet up. Props to the moderators for keeping the real pains out.
