Accidentally dropped my Inkbird IBT-4xs onto a patio stone, and now it reads, then turns off and on intermittently, and feels like the on/off switch is loose/broken. Other than pilot error, I’ve had no problems in the roughly 2 years I’ve had it.
While I have been happy with it and the price, may as well consider options.

Buying same replacement would give me some extra spare working probes, which is nice, but ...

Finding one with better water resistance would be nice.
Finding one that stores info/graphing and/or doesn’t lose it when phone sleeps would be nice.
Already have an UltraQ/Viper fan for the BGE, so the Drive feature of the Fireboard looks redundant, unless I add another smoker/grill like a Weber kettle, but probably could adapt the UltraQ.
Think my old TP08 works ok but giving that to SIL. The TP25 looks like pretty equivalent to my Inkbird.
Intrigued by the Meater, but hear may not monitor ambient terribly accurately and the Block is finicky, so multiple probes may be out.

Fielding any opinions from y’all on what you like or love or would do over.

I've been using a couple of Maverick XR-50 for a couple of years based solely on Meathead's recommendation. No phone app and I'm not sure about how water resistant they are, but mine has been out in the rain, just not laying flat where rain will puddle on the face.

I've been satisfied, but they don't have a lot of the features that you may be accustomed to, need, or want. They serve me satisfactorily.
