I am from Lubbock, Texas, and I am a woman in love with all things BBQ.  I have a gas grill, which I have pretty much mastered, according to my family.  I recently got a smoker, with which I am just beginning to experiment, and I would love to learn to cook with wood, eventually.  I am smoking my first ham, as I type this.  Sure hope I don't ruin Christmas dinner.  My smoker cooks a little too hot, so I'm still trying to figure out how to regulate it, since it's electric.

Welcome to the forum. Great folks and tons of info here. Any questions just ask. And the search function can be real helpful to you. Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome and happy holidays!  GO TECH!  You'll find plenty of help here about your smoker. Use the search button or just ask!  Good luck with the ham!  Post photos of your cook if you can.  We love to see whatcha got on the grate.
