Hello all. So trying to cook some beef ribs today and just tried to turn on my gateway. It turned on once, i turned it off and plugged in to charge it. Now its not responding to anything. I press the power button, nothing happens. Looks like support is closed today. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it operational?

Can't help but you've got some time on your side. Someone will be along to help before they're ready.
Plate ribs? What temp are you running?

Keith

Assuming you've left it on charge since original post. Try it now and see.

Do you have another to use ?
If not use a skewer to check for tenderness.

Looks great. I use a fire board

Incase you haven't looked at this . I don't have RFX , but I know with my signals you have to use the charger that came with it or it won't take a charge .

FYI It's been a few years but I tried to get a "gateway' working with my new Smoke thermometer. Suffices to say that I was not able to get it to work reliably and start up without fiddling with it every cook. I did work with Thermoworks support but it still was troublesome. They did treat me well when I opted to return it for $$ back.
I just wanted to cook and not have to fuss with it.

Glad to hear they've got you taken care of. They are a great co. that takes care of it's customers.

Good morning - we're sorry this happened on a day we were unavailable. It's great to hear that the team was able to take care of you!
I am interested to see what happened with your RFX GATEWAY and will see what we can do with our QA team.

You can always email us at social@thermoworks.com or give us a call like you did above. Happy Cooking!

Will be shipping it back to you this week
I think firmware got corrupt somehow
