I have a TempSpikeXR (dual wireless) as well as a TP-19H. The TP-19H is a handhand probe.
My TempSpike has been a bit wonky - +/- 15 degrees of the TP-19H. I've used it the last two times as an 'estimator' and checked by hand. It's ambient read seems low and it's meat temp has been very high. Weird.
I called ThermoPro on Friday and explained my problem - hoping for a hidden calibration menu or something.
They asked my name and address and little else (they looked me up in the computer). A replacement is on the way in 3-5 business days.
Can't ask for better customer service than that.
I asked if they wanted the old one back; they told me to keep it as a backup. Not sure what good a backup that's in the same zip code as the actual temperature is used for, but it's one less bit of cross shipping I'll need to do.
Couldn't be happier with a 5 minute phone call.
