So NY strip it is!! Got this on the grill getting some Pitmaster blend smoke then I'll fire the gasser up to finish. Will be served with mushrooms we need to use some up and a baked tater!

I'll report perfect touch of smoke the fat was perfectly seared and melted in mouth with only two nickle size chunks that were not edible outside a happy Jack Russell!
