Hi Gang,
I had to get a certified weigh made on my rig in order to register it here in Tejas.
The evening prior to weigh, after a few brews, I decided to have a contest with those present for closed bid guess. (case of beer was the prize) (sadly, I didn't win)
Obviously BEER isn't an option here but I thought it'd be fun to see guesses from smoking meat forum members. We also can't do a closed bid so there will be clues as to the weight based on other guessers. Those clues may help or hinder your accuracy...
So, here it goes.....
Here's the build thread - look here for history and rough measurements.

Contest: Guess the weight of the rig. I'm not answering any questions. No member has ever seen it in person (yet) so there shouldn't be any cheaters.
Prize: At this time, the prize is bragging rights unless someone wants to offer up a prize with shipping.... I'm just here to provide the opportunity for you to show off your weight estimate skills.
Winner: closest guess to the pound. if 2 guessers are equal above and below, then the lower guess wins. I'll answer with a picture of the official weigh certificate when the thread grows cold and folks are yelling at me.
Rules: One guess per member. First guess is the only one that counts. Guessing multiple times will result in your next brisket to come out overdone.
Hint: it's less than 5000 pounds
Directions: Reply here with a guess.
Have Fun!
