This package was labeled "tri-tip". Great, one of my favorites.
Open the package and there are 2 pieces of meat in there... And neither are particularly triangular shaped.

Was it mis-labeled?
Was it accidentally cut into two pieces and still packaged together?
Were we in the 3rd or 13th beer?
These questions will forever remain mysteries.
Planning to smoke then sear on the kettle.

On rare occasions, the butcher in our local grocer will cut TT into strips or pieces. I'm not sure why but at least they label it as such. We don't get TT enough for me to be able to tell if that is in fact a TT but it sort of does look like one.
