Yesterday was a miserable day here in Michigan with today only getting worse. Freezing temps with crazy wind howling all day didn't make for a good time working outside. I decided to do a cook in my crappy verticals offset for friends and then got the call that our monster reverse flow insulated cabinet smoker was ready to be on the road. I hopped in the truck and treveled an hour to the shop we are rebuilding the concession trailer we are starting out business out of this year to take delivery. Unfortunately the move from trailer to trailer had to take place outside and needed a whole lot of muscle, willpower and ingenuity to make it happen. We moved her and got her set.

36w x 30d x 60t standing on 12 1/4" legs making her just over 6' tall she's a sight for sore eyes. 5 racks currently and we plan on running 8 racks for rib days, 4480 square inches of cooking space with 5 racks and 7168 square inches with all 8 going. Got a few pics, it was cold and sorry for the bad photos, yes I'm fat and I ugly up the smoker standing by her, but I love her.

Very nice setup, that must of been quite the battle to get her up on that trailer. Best of luck in your new venture.

Very, very Nice! Is that a home made camper on a trailer with a porch you have the smoker on???

Yes, we purchased the trailer with the vending cabin on it, I plan on posting a build thread to show the progress of the project from start to finish when we are done but quick rundown:

The original trailer had a GIANT rotisserie smoker which was approximately 7 1/2 wide and weighed in around 1400 lbs without the 6 racks in it. It was a nice smoker, but not what we wanted for our comfort zone of cooking.

We gutted the whole inside of the cabin once we found frost and water intrusion, wasn't in the plan but we wanted to make things right before starting this business. All new floor, insulation, vapor barrier and walls. We knocked out the back wall and extended our work area tremendously.

We build the frame and roof over the smoker area, extending off of the cabin going all the way forward, new roofing over the whole thing and we plan on surrounding in the smoker area so it can be usable prep area.

Many other "little things", overall when it's done she will be 100X better and really be an awesome rig.

Most definitely a battle, I have some move pics I will post, we basically unhooked our trailer in the drive, lowered it as far as it will go and then backed up the trailer the cooker was delivered on and put a 10 ton jack under it to get them near the same height. From there it was pull straps, 2x4's screwed together to make runners to "slide" it on and a whole bunch of fat boy will power to slide her into place. Thank you for the good wishes, I'm excited for this new venture.

Thank you everyone for the comments, it was fun working with this builder to create this rig, it was a complete one off build he's never done before coming in at close to 800lbs, there were bumps in the road in the process but overall it's an amazing piece of work that pictures cannot do justice to. Our builder now created a buzz posting this project and has people asking him to build them one :D , our plan is to have him start one in the fall for us with doors mirrored and we will be putting two of these beauties on the front porch of the trailer :D

Firebox picture, it will hold 52lbs of coal and wood easily.
