Uberti 1872 Open Tops 4 3/4", 45 Colt.
They will be paired with the short rifle in post #272.

I've got another one incoming. A Colt 1849 Pocket revolver, also Uberti made. Midway USA has dropped the prices on a number of their percussion revolvers. The 1849 Pocket included.

Don't you just love the smell of FFFg.
Yes, but we used 4F back years ago. Used for parades and needed the better burn in the cannon and pistols. Blanks of course. Finally got the powder burn tattoo out of my forehead.

I use the sugar based smokeless in the hunting rifle.

Good choice Rick. That will be a great back door gun. What will you be loading it with, bird or buck shot?
Oh yeah I got all kinds of shells from when my hunting days with the boys. game loads, 00, sabots and I can hunt on my own property and the guy down the rd gave me permission to hunt and fish on his 600 acres...how awesome is that

Here is that 1849 Pocket pistol that I mentioned. It was pretty rough inside but I got it smoothed out and ready to shoot round balls.

Here it is with the 1861 Navy to show how much smaller it is.

One more to go and I'll be done buying percussion revolvers. An 1862 Police is next on the list. I really enjoy working on and shooting these Colt reproduction guns and Uberti makes some nice ones.
