it is killing the last of the pool time. Just had a new heater installed, pool is at 87 and now it is wreaking havoc with the wind and leaves coming down.

It brought very little rain to us, and the winds didn't really get that bad. Maybe high 20's. Looks like OBX got a beating as far as beach erosion etc but again... just kinda windy and cool here. People are busting out the hoodies and pumpkin spice. I'm hiding from them.

Pretty sure us living in Iowa and Minnesota, we're gonna get blizzards and maybe tornadoes. We might even have some flooding but my beach is gonna be fine... since I don't have one lol!

HI ALL! NJ CAPE MAY AREA :
Had to take a cat to the vet and went thru Ocean City @ High tide.
There was only one area the water was across the road, few inches.
Not very happy about it?
Storm is coming now as we speak.
Next 2 days will be brutal,rain along with high winds.
Glad to be home, watching the Phillies loose ? NOT GOOD!

We just got a nice beach replenishment of sand, The storm took most of it back to sea ! It Sucks !

We have not had a Hurricane yet this year. The Pacific is on fire though this year. Got 3 churning out there right now.

My wife and me are on the Big Island/Kona side. So far so good, but it's supposed to get sporty later tonight. I've been through exactly two hurricanes, one in Cabo, and the other in Jamaica, many yrs ago.
It was no big deal, besides the wind and water damage. I just watch the news, they are saying Cat 2 for sure possibley Cat 3 with 3 Feet of rain, which seems crazy to me.
The airlines are already asking us to extend our trip until Wed or Thursday with travel expenses paid.
We already extended our trip by 5 days, so 3 more isn't gonna kill us, seeing that we are retired.
Our hotel moved us off the first floor up to the 3rd floor. I guess so with 3 feet of rain forcasted.
So far so good though, tingers crossed for the locals living in low laying areas. Twist my arm, I'll eat fresh fish 3 more nights on the airlines.
LOL!!!

I have my gopro all charged up, ready to capture anything epic.

You all stay safe, not a fan of rough weather these days, been a hot summer but think it has finally broke, 49 here this morning as bow season opens. Vols and Tx square off today and I don't normally watch much but will this time.

Yes we do pick where we live and we all think it is the right choise, and love where we are most of the time . Take the good with the bad. But still we all think we are in heaven ( most of the time ) or at least make it that way.

If I remember Ryan , last year you had a mostly mild winter for what you normally receive.

Yep. All day today, Sunday, and Monday before it passes. Currently gusting to 38 knots on old Cape Cod. Not too bad, really. Glad I moved my little smoker under cover 'cause I've got some smoking to do!
