Was looking around yesterday and saw @Bearcarver post on his turkey breast smoke from a few days ago. Man it looked good. I just so happened to take off work a little early yesterday and just so happened to have 3 smaller boneless turkey breasts in my freezer. The stars aligned.

Rinsed and patted dry the 3 breasts and applied a salt free garlic/herb rub.

Cracked a cold one and fired up the smoke vault with apple chunks(all I had on hand).

Smoked these at 300 until they hit 165 then let them rest for about 20 min

All sliced up

And what is turkey without all the sides? Mashed potatoes, stuffing, broccoli, and garlic bread. Forgot to get a pic with the gravy over top of it all.

Man it hit the spot was very juicy and the whole plate was just on. Thanks to Bear for the inspiration!

Makes me hungry . Bird looks perfect .

Thanks man. It was so good. Gave a couple big plates to my elderly in laws that live across the road and still have a bit left. Thinking its about time for some sandwiches

Mmmm, always have been a breasts man.
Happy Thanksgiving John, it all looks delicious.
I love how we run around blaming each other

Thanks Chile. Lol I hear ya man its a bad influence around here. Always giving me excuses to make delicious food.

That plate looks FABULOUS!!! Smoked is really the only way I like turkey. Too bland any other way IMO... Looks spot on for sure!

Thanks! I tend to agree. Last year for thanksgiving I smoked a whole bird and fried a whole bird. The smoked one blew the socks off the fried one. Way better than grandma's dried out turkey in the oven with the pop up timer in it too.

Looks delicious John! Fall must be in the air, I have turkey tenderloins marinating as we speak.

We will be in the hi 70s at least until late next week. I’ll take that.

The longer I could keep my furnace off the better

We're still cooking with hundred degree + heat indexes.

I wish it was about fall weather here too. It was 96 yesterday with over a hundred degree heat index. Hasn't rained in a couple weeks. Some cooler weather would be nice!

No doubt. I had to get the griddle flat top to go on my gas grill so I can make those smash burgers you did a while back.

Hell yeah! What did you think? I did them this past weekend again but with straight brisket I had ground up and it was 10x better!

Thanks Steve. It was some good eats for sure. Easy too those turkey breasts got done in a little over an hour.

I did a turkey breast awhile back. And it took about the same amount of time. Makes for great sandwiches.

Darn good lookin food. I'm now excited for the "fall foods".
