Hello, Thanks for having me! My name's Norwood, I'm in the Raleigh-ish area of NC and I've cooked (and smoked meats) in a barrel charcoal setup with offset smoker for many years- I consider myself a pretty good cook and grillmaster. I need work and practice in the art of smoking so I'm glad I found this site. I suspect that like many others, I just recently picked up the Masterbuilt Sportsman Elite 30" electric smoker because the price was great. I'm looking forward to the possibility of consistent heat over an extended time! I thank you all in advance for any tips, techniques and wisdom you might share. I'm gonna go look around some.
