I had 4 pounds of butt and 1 pound of beef left over from my other sausage making, so I made some snack sticks for my boys at work.

I used the TexMex snack stick mix from Walton's and then added cayenne and red pepper flakes. This stuff is HOT!

Only shot I got tonight, I'm whooped!

NICE

After a very challenging weekend, I can now post the finished sticks!

These definitely came out HOT!  All of the boys here at work, and one lady, said that they loved the flavor, but they think it would go much better with a bottle of beer instead of a bottle of water!

They sure do look hot CB, but they look real tasty too ! Thumbs Up

Thanks gents. The mix I used is from Walton's (Excalibur makes it) and it's already pretty spicy, but the addition of the extra flakes and cayenne made it almost too hot for me.

However, it does taste good when an adult beverage is available, like right now!

Cranky Buzzard them sticks look awesome. If we have a west wind this weekend you might be able to smell the sticks I plan on having in the smoker since I'm in Lewisville, Tx. haha

Happy Smokin!!
