I saw something like this on the Food Network the other day and decided to adapt it to what I have in my fridge. I'd some frozen pulled pork in the freezer, and a boneless ribeye steak. Into the meat grinder went the ribeye, then formed into generous patties and grilled to medium well - I've done this many times, and it is like eating a ribeye steak on a bun, absolutely delicious.

Here's the new stuff: next, topped with pulled pork and a generous heaping of caramelized onion. Finally Sweet Baby Ray's Chipotle BBQ sauce and a bit of mustard.

Savory ribeye beef and smoky pulled pork with sweet caramelized onion, capped with the sauces - it was a memorable sammie

That looks really good, Would have made a great sandwich....   Even if it was a ribeye....lol

Thanks so much for the kind comments, gents!

My wife really liked the addition of the onions, and I tried a new (for me) way to caramelize onions - 10 hours in a crock pot. They were perfect, and we have used them in a variety of recipes, including French onion soup
