If you could go ahead and send some of those my way that would be great mmmkkay? Dang those look good man nice job! I think you should patent the ABT taco before Myron Mixon throws out a recipe.
lol! Thanks! As far as I know this is pretty original!
Some great looking tacos Travis! Definitely love some of the taco creations you come up with. I too could use a plateful!

Ryan
Thanks Ryan !
Great job sir yummy
Thank you!
Those are some fine looking tacos... :emoji_yum:

JC :emoji_cat:
Thanks JC!

I love your TACOS!!!!!!
Thanks kruizer!
You had me at chorizo sausage strips! I didn’t know these existed. That’s a game changer. Looks amazing!!!
Thanks! I found them a while back at Meijer. First ive seen them. I think they had sweet italian also.
It looks great...but what does ABT stand for?
Thanks. ABTs= atomic buffalo turds. They are awesome and tons of ways to make them. The forum has a section just for them. Check it out!
Wow!!! Those look so good. I think it time for some shrimp to hit the smoker.
Thanks Brian ! I was going to just do the ABTs but the thread you started about different ways to do shrimp got me craving for some! Glad I did them they really hit the spot!

Wow those ABTs look :emoji_fire:
Thanks JCAP!
Very nice ! I bet that ABT was great all by itself .
I've made some sausage with AC Leggs chorizo seasoning . You got me thinking about ground formed and sliced .
Nice work .
yep they were real good! And I thought the same thing. Your normal way of doing the ground and formed would work perfect. These looked to have a pretty coarse grind. I have a few strips leftover I have not cooked yet. I'll take a picture of them for you whn I get home.
Looks great and double points for originality!
Thanks!
Wow Travis!! Those blow me away. Some absolutely amazing looking tacos, that's for darned sure. I'd tear up a half dozen of those. I can send you John's ( @SmokinVOLfan ) address if you want. He lives in Lago Vista, Texas and I'm sure he'd be more than happy to pay the shipping cost to send those :emoji_laughing:

Robert
Thanks Robert! I can see the guys face now at the desk when I tell him what I want to ship out....."you want to ship what?!?!" Lol!

Man, do those ever look good. Gotta make some. The good news is that they'll be all mine--Miss Linda doesn't eat jalapenos or seafood!!
Gary
Thanks Gary ! Man your lucky! I cant ever seem to make enough ABTs! Everyone around here eats them like crazy!
Dang Travis. You're just coming out with some off the wall creations here. Love those ABTs.
Thanks Steve ! Try them out. That pinapple and chorizo combo is hard to beat!
Great idea. I am not really a seafood person so I would probably sub out the shrimp for some chicken or pork but I know if I made those for some other people they would love em with the shrimp.
Thanks! I'm sure they would be awsome with some other proteins. Even just more chorizo would be great!

Hmmm... Six or eight, six... or... eight? Eight, yeah, I could eat at least eight of those killer looking tacos.
Nice creativeness in your combination of flavors, I'm betting it rocked the taste buds.
Thanks chile! Eight? Is that all? Lol! These were fantastic! Chorizo and pinapple is one of my favorite combos for tacos. And made into an ABT was perfect. And of course shrimp is always welcome to any dish in my house lol!
Wow! This food looks so good! Big like!
Thanks disco! It was a great meal!

A little while back for taco night I tried puting an ABT on my taco with some chorizo and it was amazing! Ever since then i have been wanting to make a taco nigbt inspired ABT.

Well last night was the night!

Started out with making the Abts
Oaxaca cheese and pinapple for the filling and then wrapped with johnsonville chorizo strips

A light dusting of chili lime seasoning and ready for the smokerView attachment 465952

Then I skewered up some shrimp. They also got a light dusting of chili lime seasoningView attachment 465953

ABTs off the smoker and the shrimp off the grillView attachment 465954View attachment 465955View attachment 465956

Now for the taco build.
I cut the ABT in half and added the shrimp.
I tossed the shrimp in chalula chili lime hot sauce before adding them to the tacosView attachment 465957

Then some onion cilantro and a splash of lime juiceView attachment 465958

Full plate for me please!

These were awsome. The only thing I think I might change next time is to make more! The Abts by themselves were definitely what I was after. I could eat just those and a side of green salsa for dipping.
Another successful taco tuesday! Thanks for taking a look

Wow! You hooked me the moment you sprinkled the chili lime on the shrimp. After that you could do no wrong in my eyes. Only additional thing that could improve on them is to take 2 oz. of Tequila, one once of Cointreau, 3/4 oz. fresh lime put it all in a shaker with some ice and pour.

Thanks Chris ! We didnt have a good taco place until about 2 years ago. A guy opened up a place with some real authintic stuff. He struggled right off the bat but once the word got out that he was making quality stuff it took off.
