An hour on the grill at 425º and Sweet ‘N Peppery Vortex ribs sure hit the spot, great flavor for sure!

Thanks for looking!

Looks great, I bought the son a performer with that grid on it and he hardly ever uses it, I reckon at some point he might use the smoking and grilling equipment we have gifted over the years, working lots of overtime means less time doing things you love, been there done that. Been a long time since I grilled ribs, need to correct that I can see.

Great looking ribs! And I need to get a grate like that. Use the vortex so much you can see a difference in the grate.

Dang those look awesome. I really need to try doing singles like that sometime.

Mouthwatering for sure! I've never tried the singles before... gonna have to change that. Great job on them!

great job on those, I need to do Vortex ribs again I have only done them once despite the fact that my local grocery store sells pre-sliced ribs. Definitely taste a difference with Vortex ribs, a different texture than slow smoked ribs, different but very good!

Hey @mossymo

How were you able to control and hold the temp at 425˚ ?

When I use my vortex it is hot as blazes! . . .LOL!

John
Don't overshoot your goal temp too much, or it takes forever to get the temp down.
Just adjust the temp to your preference with the lower (air intake) damper.

Ok so I finally tried my hand at Vortex ribs. Big time operator error. Some came out edible but most of them where like trying to bite into a meteor. Like I said operator error. I left them on the fire to long.

I'll give it another whirl. When the wife isn't home.
