Leftover lasagna and a cold brew, 30 + years of marriage makes for an easy Valentines Day !
Congratulations. . .
ThanksOur 18th was this Sunday, the 1-3 inches of snow ended up being about a foot.We counted Friday night's Ghost/Volbeat concert as anniversary night and just hung out nice and toasty in the house yesterday.
I learned that many years ago, walked in WITH reservations and still waited over an hour to be seated. This was many years ago when they could not blame it on covid or staffing issues. Like you (and most of us here) we make better food at home anyway.Yesterday took my wife for a romantic fillet mignon dinner at our favorite romantic steakhouse, a wonderful evening. The adventure started when I was told that they were not accepting reservations on V day. We showed up at the restaurant and were told that the kitchen was quite backed up, they were not seating anyone for at least an hour or more. So we left and had a wonderful romantic hamburger dinner at Culver's. We did celebrate with a small chocolate frozen custard dish. Next year I'm NOT going out on Vday, and make my own excellent fillet mignon. Oh well.
