Super Bowl 2017 - What's on the menu?

I don't have a dog in this hunt, and no player is making a political statement, so I'll watch the game.  It's just my wife and me this year so we'll have a simple menu.

Menu: 

Tortilla chips and Rotel Queso.

Extra Crispy Cheetos.

Brisket Point Chili. 

If the rain holds off, I'll throw the brisket point in the Weber for a couple hours today to get some good smoke on it before making the chili this afternoon.  My chili is good the day it is made, but it is so much better the next day.

Baby backs in the smoker, buffalo wings in the oven, crawfish and shrimp in the boil!  And it's just me and my lady and her stepdad!  Lots o cold beverages also!

Daughter does oven fried dill pickles ,,, so good . 

Smoked cheese and summer sausage .

I smoked up 5lbs of wings, 5lbs of drum sticks and a 9 lb butt for tomorrow.
I'll crisp up and season the chicken on the grill before hand. Maybe I'll reheat the PP with new SV.

You know it gr0uch0!  I'm getting up early to hunt for someone with live bugs.  They are scarce right now and I think a lot of folks are planning a Superbowl boil.  I will share whatever I find.

I'd ordered some to ship up here to the Frozen Tundra several years ago from Kyle LeBlanc's farms.  Had to leave him a message and wasn't hearing back from him, and asked my assistant if he'd called, as I was expecting him to get back to me.  She got this real sheepish look on her face and turned beet red:  I asked her what was wrong. 

She said she thought the 3 times he'd called were prank calls, as his accent was so thick, couldn't really understand him, so she hung up on him.  I called him back pronto, and we had a good laugh out of it.  Get on some, and I want pics:  corn, spuds, and all!!!

Smoked brisket(on the smoker now), beans, coleslaw some chips and dip and who knows what else. That's going to be a great start!

Just a few brats and leftovers from yesterday's birthday party. Swedish meatballs,cocktail sausages in BBQ,layer dip,cheese and crackers,maybe a mini naan pizza if needed.

Super Bowl munchies today are a 3lbs salmon filet that I brined last night and just took off the smoker about 30 mins ago.  Set up again for baby back ribs that should be done about game time!  Kick back with a bloody mary, munch on smoked salmon and watch the game.

She's had pneumonia for over 3 weeks and said she was craving them, so I caved...

Uncle is doing some ribeyes and baby backs right now, and I have 2 pork butts and a brisket getting ready for this afternoon. Tacos are sounding pretty good right now...haven't had lunch yet lol. Hope the wife gets feeling better CrankyBuzzard!!

Classic gringo tacos are one of the all time best Super Bowl foods! My wife and I have been making them as a tradition every year since we got together. Of course we are having them this year. Since I've gotten hooked on this smoking thing I will have some spares and chicken wings in the mix as well.
