Hello. My son and his lady friend gave me some Hot Jalapeno Jelly as a Christmas gift. Before becoming Diabetic I just ate it with crackers or toast. What are some diabetic friendly uses? I do use Different jellies in sauces, so that's an option. Just looking for ideas, thanks.

Not diabetic but we put it over a block of cream cheese and eat with a wheat thin, nice flavor combo. people at parties love the stuff

PB&J with pepper jellies are tasty. Unfortunately white bread and sugary jelly are probably not conducive your diet.

If its peach or apricot mix in a little vinegar and make duck sauce the baste chicken with it when grilling.
I like mixing Apricot with honey or BBQ sauce, may try it with the jalapeno.

Mixed with a little butter, makes a great glaze for moinks and ABT's.

Also diabetic and should really watch things closer but...

add a bit to soup/stew when you eat it, kick it up that heat in winter. Also I'd add some to egg salad.

I jut slather my hatch chili preserves on a toasted bagel, but then again I like HOT! usually a fried egg on top.

My jelly didn't set, so I call it preserves now.
