Wife said i need to build a storage area for my smokers , i only have five of them!

But since she said that , I think its a great idea .

so now the question is , have any of you built one? If so any pics ? i need one to keep the electric ones dry but do not want to enclose it and really dont want to spend a fortune on the build.

What space do you have available to you? Do you need to just store them out of sight when not in use, but will pull them out to smoke on? Or are you thinking a covered area to keep them under 24/7 where you would also be doing the smoking?

I haven't built anything yet, but those are the first questions that come to mind. Ive been mulling the same, though I primarily want a covered area to smoke in when it's raining. (it rains a lot here and my easy up is quickly turning brown.)

I have two and a half acres but i want a covered area to store and use the space for smoking in also.

Sounds like you have plenty of room and perfect setup for an outdoor kitchen.
I guess it just depends on how much you are willing to spend on the project.
I have a small backyard & my smokers & grills are scattered all over the place.
A couple of them are under a covered area, but the majority are out in the weather.
I just cover them with large garbage bags & then vinyl covers. If I happen to have to smoke something on a rainy day, I use the one smoker that is under a roof. If I have one of the other smokers going & it starts to rain, I have a pop up canopy that I can setup in a couple of minutes. I sure wish I had the room to build a big pole barn & make a really nice outdoor kitchen.
