Well I have been smoking and cooking for over 20 years on and off. Built my fisrt smoker 20 years ago out of an old Ben Franklin wood stove and an old Dryer. worked fine at the time was young and did not have the knowledge of the internet. Last year my son came up to me and told me he wanted to do a Pig roast for his graduation party. So l placed an order for a pig then thought I need a way to cook it. Talked to a few friends and my brother who is a comercial sheet metal worker decided I would build a smoker again. Built a smoker out of a 250 gallon fuel tank in less then 2 weeks  that was a challenge. Had good friends who had some of the supplies laying around in their scrap piles and a few trips to the hardware store and it was completed. Now I am looking to build a Smoker for on my deck out of an old kitchen stove from the 1930s.Live in an old historical area and had some comments about my big smoker out back by the picket fence so had to make it look like a BBQ complex. In the spring I will be building a new smoker on a trailer with a warming box. I love to get out and cook with my smoker we have people walking by on the sidewalk all ways asking questions of what is that and we smelled something and had to come check it out.I have smoked whole pigs, a goat, Chicken, turkeys, duck, beef and everything else to my ribs and then love to cold smoke Cheeses, butters and even nuts. My 2 favorites would have to be smoking Bacon ends and ribs. Have been thinking about learning the art of sausage making have great interest in it. When i was younger I worked in a store that had a smoke house learned so much but wish I would have learned more. Life lessons and still learning

Looking forward to share my knowledge and learn from others.

Thanks and Hello Stewart
