Well here is my best rendition of an offset reverse flow smoker. Thanks to all of you for the inspiration and information! As these things have a tendency to do this build took on its own identity. I never imagined it would look like this. I started with a piece of pipe i found in our rack (I own a welding and fabricating company) from there i used the calculator to size the fire box, RF plate, stack, and vent holes. I used as much older rusty steel as i could find around the shop. The pipe is 3/8 thick and 20" diameter, the fire box is 1/4" plate.The wheels came off a 1930's orchard sprayer that sat around or shop for about 20 years.

That smoker looks great. I bet it's a bitch dragging that sprayer around the orchard.
