For those who where interested in the steam juicer it diluted the juice quite a bit. Maybe I just did to much at one time? The one I used straining bag on had a gravity of 1.045 and the one used steam juicer on was 1.025. I mixed 3 quarts each for making jam and ended up 1.035. Will split that with my friend. Have one gallon of the 1.025 left. Will see what kind of wine that makes. Will have to add a lot of sugar to bring up to 1.092. Peaches on sale for $0.97. If I can find some ripe ones might steam juice those for wine. Let you know in 6 months if turns out any good.

GOOD INFO! Thanks for posting. I am no steam juicer pro but I recall the steam is supposed to condense and drop into the bottom and not into the juice so maybe not setup right possibly?

This the one I got. Roots & Branches Aluminum Steam Juicer with Tempered Glass. It pretty straight forward. There really no place for the steam to go other than in the juice as far as I can figure?
