Yup. You nailed it.Nothing wrong with steak sauce if that's your thing. It doesn't mean you can't cook a steak or are trying to cover up flavor. I don't use it often but I do get a craving for it from time to time. Some of these guys posting about letting the beef flavor speak for itself will be the first folks to tell you pulled pork needs to have finishing sauce added to the whole batch.
