Thanks for the add, Im looking for any input from those who have experience with stainless steel and carbon steel smokers. I have a 30" dia. X 5' with a 2'×2' door and its 20 years old. I Am planning on building my next smoker soon but plan on it lasting for the rest of my lifetime. I'm planning on building a smoker out of a 250 gallon propane tank. I'm planning on using stainless steel for a firebox and plan on incorporating a water pan in the entire length of the pit. This firebox and water pan wil be one peice and be made to slide into the pit and be bolted to the pit. This design will also allow me to make this pit a reverse flow smoker. I plan on the fire box being 2'×2'as it has work great on my old smoker. My biggest concern is galvanic corrosion between the stainless steel and the steel propane tank. I hope there are some of you that could help me figure out what would be the best way to go about the building of this new smoker. Thank yall
