My doctor said I have to quit smoking, so I am getting rid of all my gear, must pick up I can't deliver.

Here's a few items I will be parting with. Sad day indeed.

Dam there's no way getting anything past you guys

This day is pretty special to me.. after going through a rough time trying to conceive, doctors visits, shots, medicines and a bunch of other stuff we were blessed with two healthy girls Amanda 1997 and Samantha 1993, after a few years my wife tells me the good news, well April 1st 2002 my son is born... what an April fools prank. We call him, "Mountain House" because we were looking to buy a vacation home before we found out she was pregnant.

LOL---Saw that one coming, SQWIB!!

I got Mrs Bear this morning. She was in the office in the loft, and I told her the brand new coffee maker was leaking all over the counter top.

I let her get up & go to the steps, but I told her "April Fools" before she had to come down the stairs.

See how nice I am?!?!

You have no idea how it is to have have your birthday fall on April 1st everybody that checks you license, passport or filling out information that includes your birthday has something cute to say.

But I did just hit the jackpot, #2 son and daughter-in-law just came by had a load of ladders and platforms he fabbed up for the church, and brought me Rib-eyes, Lobsters, Crab salad and  banana nut bread with a real nice card. and are coming back with cow manure for my garden. (I had kind of given up on the cow manure) Grandson is going to till it in for me so I'll be ready to plant.

We call him, "Mountain House" because we were looking to buy a vacation home before we found out she was pregnant.

Well at first you got me, but then when you said all your equipment was "free" I knew something fishy was up!

Glad to hear that after some struggling, you now have a healthy happy family. We have a wonderful daughter who just turned 4 on March 31st and my darling wife is set to pop any day now with our second child,...a boy! Good times indeed!

Hey SQWIB, will do, I posted a picture of what it looked like yesterday in the "Small Garden section" after grandson tilled in 15 bags of cow manure and some triple 13. We are ready to plant but weatherman says heavy rain today and tomorrow. here it is late yesterday evening.

HA! Thanks for the tip. My dad was one of nine; my mom was one of 7; I was one of 4; so I think the logic flow suggests "2" as my ideal number. Plus I have my girl and I (almost) have my boy now so that should be reason enough to throw in the towel...

Hey SQWIB, We went through the same thing with #1 son, fertility drugs trips to the Doctor whole nine yards. Then one day I cam in from work and my wife said I've got some news ! I said Oh I have some news too ! She said I'm pregnant ! I said "Wow I got laid off" that was in 1974 he was supposed to be a Christmas Baby, but was not born until January. I tell him he was late being born and been late every since. True story never on time. #2 son was born on Easter Sunday 1977.

My wife had been having female problems for several months after the birth of our 1st son in 1974.  We'd tried to no avail to have a second child, but because of many gynocological difficulties, we'd long given up on the idea.  In Sep't of 1978, my wife once again had to go see her doctor and I had an insurance meeting (sold for M of O).  She came to Howard Johnson's in Watertown after her appointment as I'd just finished the meeting; I had news for her, and she had news for me, too.  I was proud to tell her that I was successfully able to drop pregnancy benefits and get Major Medical to finally cover both of us!

I asked her how her appointment went, any new sign of her cancer returning?

"No..." she murmured... "...but I'm pregnant!" she wailed!

We had the baby (Robert) and had to pay it off ourselves!

Pops6927   -   Another pregnancy story. I had a guy that worked for me back in the 80's . He and his wife had been trying everything to get pregnant, would even get a call in the middle of the day and would have to run home and "well you know" Tried and tried. Then the Doctor told them "look lets just get off all the fertility stuff, take a break and start again in about six months. They were pretty much heart broken. So to take their mind off of it they decided to get back into camping, which they always enjoyed. So one day he asked if I would go with him to look at 5th wheel travel trailers. I did, he picked out a nice one and they got him ready to go. He took it it out that weekend just to try it out and make sure everything worked . He had vacation coming so the following week they struck out for South Louisiana for a week of camping and visiting parents and grandparents. After they returned and the next Doctors appointment she found out she was pregnant. I told him he needed to run an add and rent that thing out to people who were trying to get pregnant.
