Hey all, most the folks that know me here know we like NASCAR racing ! Martinsville is one of our favorite tracks ! Well, we were at the store yesterday & seen some nice lookin St. Louis style spare ribs, got me thinkin that'd be a tasty snack for the race & bought a rack (wish I'd have picked up at least two) !

So anyway fast forward to this morning & figured I'd get em on for the race. The wife, who generally doesn't ask for special requests when I'm Qing said... "Can you just make them with garlic powder & just a bit of pepper ?" Sure, I can do that ! But was thinkin, I was in the mood for a bit of a bite today... somethin that'd be a bit on the spicy side... So we halved the rack of ribs for separate seasoning !

So seasoned her side with what she asked & got to thinkin... I ordered some wing seasoning from Owens BBQ recently & them were some tasty drums ! So, I figured why not try the wing seasoning on the ribs ?

Each half seasoned up !

Tossed on the GMG with apple pellets at 265*

So, after bout 4 hrs they were done !

The garlic powder & black pepper half !

The Owens wing seasoning half !

Plated pic with the ribs, salad & grape jello (kids request) !

It was a tasty meal ! The wife & kids loved the garlic powder/black pepper seasoning & I thought the wing seasoning on the ribs were awesome ! Thanks for lookin all !

Nice looking rib cook! I have to say this is the second time I have heard of someone using the Buffalo Wing seasoning on ribs and highly recommending others try it. Personally I love the flavor for hot wings and as a light seasoning on may other things but ribs I never thought of... This week or weekend my wife and I are gonna give this a try on ribs, thanks!
