Spare ribs $0.66/lb.!!!!

Local grocer is having a 2 day sale...

30# case box of spare ribs for $19.95!!!

Can not pass that up! So time to make some room inda freezer! I pulled out some BB's that did not get cooked at the hunting camp this hunting season. I pulled out a 10# bag of chicken leg quarters too...

I have the BB's salted and seasoned, in the curing fridge.

The bag of leg quarters thawing in the sink, will brine them in the morning for a few hours, then in the smokehouse.

Yep. Might pick up another box for the guys @ the firehouse....put 'em on the pellet smoker @ the station.

You were right....they were shiners. They were also frozen solid in one block, not individually packaged and though I have 4 freezers, I did not have room for a box that big.
