Hello y'all! Just a south Texas family man here. I love to smoke on my old country smoker. If not smoking then I'm grilling something. Look forward to search for some ideas. I have a brisket, pork loins and turkey thighs lined up for tonight.

Hello Dave.  You are in my old part of the world.  Raised on Pleasanton Rd. and Loop 13.  Mom is now out near Elmendorf off 181.  In my younger days spent a few hours in the old Silver Saddle and such places.  Depending on your age you might remember the VERY old Spotted Horse Drive In or Cap'n Jims.  Mom is now off 181 near Elmendorf.
