Hey all, I've been obsessing over BBQ for about a year and ended up getting a MES30 for Christmas. I wanted something electric to start with, to make sure I was going to like BBQing as much as I liked watching it on TV. Eventually I'll get something like a WSM. I'd been using this forum as a search tool when I was researching Q so I figured I might as well join now that I can participate. I'm keeping a journal of my smokes and then transferring that to a blog. I did my first smoke, a Boston butt from Wal-Mart, last Thursday and as soon as I pulled it I was ready to smoke another one.
