I use what ever is " bottom of the bag " left behind . Cheez its , pretzels , what ever's left .

I have used many combinations of chips, pretzels, fried cheetos, doritos and just about every snack type thing I can find. When I get them all combined how I want I throw in some of Jeff's rub mix for a smokey bbq flavor. Always a hit at parties so make a bunch.

I just started the 12 step process for smoked almonds now you bring up smoking other snack foods?

I smoked some potato chips (ridged) per Jeff's instructions, I liked them but will use more of his original rub next time. They actually had more crunch post smoking. I also smoked some tortilla chips at the same time and have to say the smoke flavor does not agree with that chip at all.
