Smoking 4 butts overnight

Well I have 4 butts equalling 28 pounds. I'm going to start smoking tomorrow night around 11pm. It will be cold but the party goers must eat! I'll post pictures on how it turns out. this is the prep work they are in the fridge soaking up all the goodness now.

FBI it's: in a pint jar.. about a half inch of rub, about a half inch of canola oil, and fill the rest with beer

I don't know a lot about smoking or your smoker but I have the brinkman electric and when I was smoking my butt a few weeks ago i had to throw a moving blanket over the top of it to hold the heat in. I live in Iowa so it's cold here and I'm sure it's colder there. This may not work or be a good idea for your unit. Just a thought. I'm sure someone with a lot more experience will chime in and advise you.

Nope 12 hrs in, IT is 172. I just bumped the temp up.

Thanks boomerangg22, I'm going to be a little late for the party, but you can't rush perfection. I had them at 225 over night. I was a little nervous doing an overnight smoke with a new unit. But now I know I can crank her up a little like I did with my last smoker.
