I can literally see the smoke drifting down the street and between houses like a light fog and this is coming from many hundreds of miles away.

Thats bad for sure. We had a few days of air quality in the triple digits, but lately is more in the double digits.

Cant close the windows because we have no AC, so we just breath it in.

Afternoon seabreeze kicked in so finally some relief from the ground level smoke.

Air quality index is 195 at home. 500 at the camp. Nasty for sure.

The smoke forecast was WAY OFF. I can actually see the sun today and even a little bit of sky. Living next to the ocean and getting a stiff seabreeze is a good thing.

Smoke has made it to me in Willard Ohio which is northeast Ohio. Took the dogs out this morning and thought there might be a house fire nearby due to the smell and haze. Pic doesn't show it well but you can see the haze and reduced visibility. They say storms Saturday should clear it out.

I just noticed it this morning. With the high temps and the smoke, thinking about putting a pork butt outside and letting the conditions smoke it. Would save me some pellets for sure.

We're getting a decent dose here in SE Virginia, and people seem to forget that it was way worse a few years back with the previous fires from Canada which obviously sucked for those involved, @DRKsmoking can probably fill you in on that stuff. Not gonna google it, but we had the Great Dismal Swamp fires and the Alligator River area down in North Carolina on fire for a fairly extended period... maybe 10 years ago? I dunno but those were not cool at all.
