I volunteered for a charity cook out Saturday..... #19 did good, was able to put 120 half chickens on there all at once, and have them ready in 3 hours. I don't get to use this one that often, and every time I do I'm amazed at how well it does.
Here is how I start my wood if I dont feel like dragging out the propane rod. I removed the wire from inside a charcoal starter, start the charcoal , then just pick it up and let the charcoal fall out the bottom. It usually only takes half a starter full, just enough to spread out to lay two splits on.
