the last week ive had presents in my yard!! this time almost every year shaggy mane grow in clusters. they are pretty tasty eaters if you havent tried them. pretty safe too as far as lookalikes because of their unique shape. just cut them off split and sautee in butter or olive oil. handle with care they are very delicate. and cook as soon as you pick them! they are in the inky cap family and will self dissolve in 2 or 3 days of popping up!
these dont mix with alcahol either! so dont drink before or after that day.
