Evening smokers. Did some babybacks today. Thought I'd share. Not my best but tasty for sure

2 racks babybacks. Membranes removed and rubbed with some AC Leggs BBQ rub.

Onto the smoker at 225 using pecan. I did 2-2-1 for these and used pink paper for my wrap. Sprayed with root beer ever 30min

After 2 hours I wrapped and put beans on. Beans were Bush's with tri color bells and onions, country ham and some BBQ rub

About an hour and a half after wrap I threw the andouille sausage on. Then unwrapped ribs 30min later

After 5hr total pulled everything off. Sliced ribs and cut sausage

Fixed me up a bowl of beans and put some ribs and sausage in

Was not my best but delicious for sure. The Leggs is some definite old school flavor and I loved it. Thanks for looking

Looks good. What is that paper you wrapped them in? Same concept as foil?
Thanks Brian. It's pink/peach butcher paper. Similar concept as foil yes. Difference is foil steams and traps all heat. Paper does steam a bit but allows most of it to escape. Helps keep nice bark during wrap step. For the last several months I've preferred it to foil.
These were my last ribs using paper. They were much better

Looks good Jake, I think you took a trip to flavor town today! Those beans had to have awesome flavor with everything you added to it.
