Smoked Meatballs

    The little Ms's wanted spaghetti and meatballs for dinner.

    So i thought........Hmm it's meat, So it's goin in the smoker!

    I used,

    1lb ground chuck (80/20)

    1lb Jimmy Dean (sage)

    1 T onion powder

    1 T garlic powder

    2 T italian seasoning

    ½ oz soy sauce

    ½ oz moore's

    Then made them into little balls,

    And smoked them with RO lump, and Pecan (ofcourse)







    Oh Yeah, The sauce was basic tomato sauce with carmelized onions,garlic, and mushrooms(shiitake)

    Looks awesome should have come got some fresh basil I picked today for that sauce

    Thanks jerry, Fresh basil is the BOMB!

    Gotta have it in spaghetti sauce.

    When my tomato crop comes in i will need some

    Moore's is a marinade, They make several products.

    I use their wing sauce, and beef marinade

    Those look delicious, I would definitely take a plate of that, makes me hungry for spaghetti.

    Adding cheese in the center is awesome. Wrapped in bacon would trurn them into some great moinks. Not sure if I would use them for pasta though.

  20. raptor,  those look very good,  I will have to try that out also.  What temp and how long?  congrats on the front page.
