Smoked Cure..

i dont want a sweet cure for what im going to do ..can bacon should be a smoke flavor with a tad of salt..any ideas for a cure ..dont see anything in town..thanks mike

Mike, if you are talking non sweet bacon, here are a couple of ways to try it.

Both do use Morton's though.

Mike I'm not sure I understand what it is you're after. Are you wanting to make bacon without a sweet flavor?

Mike, I've never thought of morton's tender quick as being too sweet, maybe you are thinking about the mortons sugar cure?
