Thought I would do a chuck roast tomorrow. Hickory with a brisket type rub I guess..

I better go buy one.. I decided to get a nicer one from the butcher, As opposed to a roast on sale in liquid from the megamart.. need some pepper corn and more brown sugar too.

In for the ride.

Q view all day tomorrow I guess.. lol fun.. it's a good way to use up the spices and keep from wasting them..

I love Chuckies! They can be tricky, though. Kroger has them on sale this weekend buy one get one free. I plan on getting a couple.
I'm tuned in to this...
:popcorn

Yeah.. Chuck roast they normally have for like $3.99 or $4.99 .. then the buy one get one free sale price somehow goes up to $5.99 a lb.. lol I usually buy one for $3.99 a lb if they have it that way..

I got mine at the butcher store in a case for $4.39 lb. But I didn't want it to be prepackaged in liquid etc..

To windy today so I'm not gonna do a minion or use water. Just my 10 lb brick covered. Top down start should help keep temp up .
