Didn't get a real good smoke ring, not sure why - but it had a real good smoke flavor.

Chicken really smokes to quick to develope a good smook ring. As long as it is moist and taste good.....you did great.

Great Looking Bird, Nice Color...

Your bird looks delicious my friend.  Did you brine it? What wood did you use to smoke?

No brine, just rubbed it with olive oil and then dry rub. I used some hickory chunks this time.

Thanks everbody.

Thanks Flash - still a newbie. It definitely tasted good and was very moist.

Great looking chicken. Like Flash said before chicken does not seem to develop a ring

Yep, at the most you will see a slight hue. The smoke flavor comes through though.

That looks really good, but don'ttake any chances. Package that bird up and ship it to me for proper disposal.

Happy smoking,

  Big AL

too late - I already had enough guinea pigs on hand to test it out on...

Thanks Roller. It truly tasted good especially for my first try. Can't wait to try it again.
