Last week I got a craving for some chili and it just so happened I had about 2 pounds of brisket leftover from smoking so I thought id try something different.  I started out coring some tomatos and grilling them with some onions, celery and a couple of jalapenos till they all had a nice char on them.

Then I made a puree out of the tomato's and put a real nice chop on the onions, celery, and jalapenos.  I then added the brisket, onions, celery, and jalapenos to the tomato puree along with some spices and a bottle of beer.

Now its time to simmer untill supper!!
