Well, I have to give a big pat on the back to Porky Pa's, out in Chicagoland I believe. I finally decided to get a smoke daddy to facilitate my cold-smoking desires a little easier.
Ordered that thing on Wednesday at about noon, and when I got back from lunch today, Friday, at 2:00 pm, here it was on my doorstep in Rhode Island.

Good job Porky Pa, and good job priority mail. Guess we'll be smoking salmon this weekend after all.

Cool, I have heard good things about him.

you won't be disappointed. I've been using a Big Kahuna on my MES for about a year and love it. I use it for cold smoking cheese and smoked Kielbasa.

I purchased the Big Kahuna also, very well made product with excellent metal machining work to it. I highly recommend the Smoke Daddy product; heck 3 or 4 briquettes in a empty soup can and a cardboard box and you will be cold smoking !!!

I am drilling 5/8" holes in all of my smokers and grills so a Smoke Daddy option is avaiable if I choose.

Only draw back for me with the product is clean up, I would like to hear what others are doing or using for the gummy tar build up?

There was a post about that. I use rubbing alcohol for my MES window, cheap and it works, I think denatured works also,so I was told.

I believe I will drill out all of my equipment too, as the thing is so darned easy to transfer. Since I haven't fired it up yet, couldn't comment on the cleanup, but one of the best products I have found is "Dawn Power Dissolve"....just spray it on and let it sit according to directions, and it sure makes the rest of my cleanups much easier.

I clean mine up with a round wire brush attached to a cordless drill.

Here's my set up. Got the brush and extention at Lowes.

A ten minute soak in a bucket of hot soapy water, then hit it with a scotch brite pad seems to do ok. I would also think mineral spirits would clean it right up.

I use Acetone to clean mine up.
Works great and comes sparkly clean with the acetone.

Acetone works great but is dangerous as all get out. Rubbing alcohol works just as good and will not tear your lungs apart. I use the round wire brush and drill method.

My problem is so far I am too chicken to drill a hole in the side of my Showtime rotisserie for the Smoke daddy pipe. Has anyone done this ? If so where exactly did you drill. I am thinking on the left side down low near the back away from the digital controls.

I got the medium model. I use 1/2 cherry pellets and 1/2 peach chips in mine.

Yeah, so dangerous that it has been used in Ladies' nail polish remover for years.
Just don't huff it or accidentally light it on fire.
