Went and picked up a few ingredients this past Sunday morning to do a rendition of a Philly Cheesesteak on Ciabatta Roll.
Ciabatta Rolls, Red, Green bell peppers, and a yellow onion, and a Sirloin Tip Roast.
I seasoned the roast with a just a store bought steak and chop seasoning. and I made a injection up also that included the
seasoning.
Now I don't know what temp I was smoking at, because my batteries died on my grate thermometer. I was doing a half snake/minion method with the charcoal.
Smoked it till it reached 138° and pulled and wrapped it for a 1/2 to 3/4 hour.
It was so tender and juicy.
My kids tried it and said it had great flavor they kept eating my shavings for my sandwiches.
I sauté the peppers and onions up with some minced garlic.
I put these in the oven at 350° for about 10 minutes if that, basically once the cheese was nice and melted.
were delicious sandwiches, the only thing I want to change up is making a actual cheese sauce to drizzle on rather that just having the sliced cheese on it.
Thanks for looking everyone.
