Since most of the folks on here seem to be celebrating at least one Holiday this time of year, I figured it might be fun to create a thread to showcase all the hard work we've put into decorating for the season. So share some pics of your place!!

We usually don't decorate because for the past 7 or 8 years we've left right after Christmas to head to Georgia, plus we usually go to someone else's house for Christmas, so there really just didn't seem to be much point. This year our trip is gonna be a little later and we'll be here, so we decided to get a little tree.

It's not the biggest tree, but it's exceptionally Merry!!

Charlie: I guess you were right Linus; I shouldn’t have picked this little tree. Everything I do turns into a disaster. I guess I don’t really know what Christmas is about. Isn’t there anyone who understands what Christmas is all about?

Linus: Sure, I can tell you what Christmas is all about.

Linus goes to center stage, spotlight.

Linus: “And there were in the same country Shepards abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them, and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, ‘fear not, for behold, I bring you tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you. Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in the manger.’ And suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, ‘glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace, good will toward men.’”

Linus picks up blanket, walks back to piano.

Linus: That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.

Silence.

Charlie picks up tree, smiles. Walks outside, stares at sky.

Charlie (to self): Linus is right; I won’t let all this
commercialism ruin my Christmas. I’ll take this little tree home,
and I’ll decorate it, and I’ll show them it really will work in
our play.

My God Md

That was --lost for words--rare for me.  Nice.  Real nice.  Merry Christmas my friend to you and your family??

If you're referring to the Charlie brown script, well we need to thank old Charles Schultz :) (And Saint Luke for providing the original words)

I just thought it fit with the cute little tree AK1 posted. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours as well.

I couldn't resist. A month or so ago we were at a store getting some stuff, and saw the Charlie Brown tree for sale.  I couldn't resist. For me it's just a classic image of Christmas. Heck, I've watched Charlie Brown Christmas from the beginning in the mid 60's. Funny thing, most people that come by, notice the CB tree more than our regular tree.

This is just a ceramic Santa teapot

Santa ornament made by my wife.

My wife's mom gave this to her years ago.

She made this one

I think she bought the angel about 20 years ago.

Not sure about this one, but I do know he scares the $h*t out of me.

This kinda shows everything in perspective. The Santa teapot is about 6" tall, so that tells you how big the tree is. You can also see my brother's scarf wrapped around the tree stand.
