Does anyone have any recommendations to have a smoker shipped from Georgia to Missouri? I had a person lined up and it looks like they ran into some trouble. I am working on getting quotes on Uship right not but wanted to know if anyone had any other recommendations. If it going from Evans GA to Sullivan MO.

Assuming your looking at getting a new pit shipped to you, may I ask what your getting and if it’s a good price. I only ask because there are several pit makers in that area including Lang that will ship it to you for a price.

I found a used one, but yes it was a good price. Now I just have to get it here. I had someone lined up to get it when they made a run that way but it looks like I need to get it moved sometime next week.

That is probably what I am going to end up doing unless I find someone making a run through the area.

Take a look at U Ship. You literally post your job and folks bid on it. I shipped a 350 lb snow plow from Ohio to Massachusetts for $140.

I was going through that route first but was getting costs around $650 to $800. I ended up going through GoShip and they booked it for me for under $300 just have to see how well they do. I did get some quotes for $330 but they wanted to pick up or deliver after access for the fork lift was gone for the day.

Hey when you get your new pit takes some pics and start another thread! congrats on the new smoker, now let see that baby in action!

Happy Smoking,
