It will bush out a bit more. They like a soil PH around 6.0–6.8.

A little bit of a balanced fertilizer. you can sprinkle a tablespoon or so of epsom salt on the soil. these plants like the magnesium and it may help set fruit

Hi,
Thanks for the info. Does this include, Plant Epsom Salt? I'm new at this and could use all the help I can get.

Thanks in advance.

Years ago I grew a bunch of different peppers and never fooled with them. Just watered when needed.

I took a bunch of Habaneroes, Jalapeños and Thai Chilies and smoked them all. I then dehydrated them all and ground them into powders to make different rubs. Just something to think about if you have "extra"

Also, you can save the seeds from each pepper and dry them out on a paper towel for a week or so, then put them in a envelope to plant next year.

I been making this salsa with them
Did a version for tonight's tacos .
Did like you listed , but my habs were ripe , and I added some tomato , green onion , cilantro and a skirt of honey . I can't feel my face .

Yes I dissolved 1/2C plain Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom salt) in one gallon of water monthly to supplement the nitrogen uptake. You can have plenty of fertilizer and leaves will be pale yellow without Magnesium to facilitate the uptake of nitrogen. The leaves will turn Hunter Green with Magnesium. You can put 1T in a quart of water to spray on the leaves that absorb into the plant but has a white hard water stain looks so I just do the gallon of water.
