MMMMmmm......
I'm not much on wings, because I like more meat for less $$$, Like Drums & Thighs.
However I'd be all over those Bad Boys!!
Nice Job!

Agreed. Any BBQ'd Yard bird is "up there" for me. Whole or parts- dark meat generally. Fortunately, I found these whole wings were on sale for less than the legs/thighs! That never happens! Thanks for the like.

Very nice! Looks tasty!

Thank you.

For sure! Wings have been on the menu a lot lately. Just cant seem to get enough of them they are so good! This last batch on the kettle was mesquite lump. I'm with you all the way! I love brining bird any other time, but when doing wings I skip that step because they are better for drying the skin.

That sounds like a fantastic idea! Please post how that turns out. Nice avatar!

I used your recipe this weekend on 12 Chicken Legs. I made the sauce without adding the sesame seed. I injected the sauce into the legs and let set for a day.

I then smoked them with 1/2 hickory 1/2 mesquite. Did a cold smoke for 90 minutes and then cranked up the heat to 250 degrees. I then pulled them off the smoker when they hit 151 degrees and put on the grill at 450 degrees.

I added the sesame seeds to the sauce and basted them 3 times when turning them.

Just put them on the grill and did the first baste.

Just before I took them off.

Total time smoking 4 hours plus about 20 minutes on the grill. Skin was nice and crunchy, and meat was nice and moist. Wow! great recipe. Momma loved them.

Thanks.
