Ok, maybe not (yet!).   Just received a Masterbuilt electric smoker for Christmas, and can't wait to get started with it!  Really anxious to get some salmon/trout going in the near future.

Looking forward to doing a LOT of reading on this forum and elsewhere on the web, to get a good understanding of the smoking process.

Located up in Ottawa, Ontario, I have no previous experience with operating smokers of any type, but my salivary glands tell me I'm gonna love it!  :)

Richard, welcome to the forum.  The search bar at the top of the page is a great resource here.  Have a question/problem just search it. You can always pot any question and someone will be along shortly to help you out.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
